Gene...what server software are you running?
Thanks...
HK
You mean news server?
No.
Server...as in apache or something like that.
I'm using Apache and b2evolution.....
Aha! I suspected you were. I'm thinking of converting my desktop
machine
into a server, and I might want to contact you for a "tech
consult."- Hide quoted text -

What??? Harry the know-it-all? There are probably several IT
consultants in your area, try the yellow pages.- Hide quoted

This is freking hilarious..The Windoze expert who has successfully
installed a plug and pray hard drive (probably with help from Geek
Squad) wants to run a news server, This is too funny.
Where did you conjure up the idea I wanted to run a news server?
I don't.
Idiot.
Why the name-calling, Harry.

John...I said I wasn't going to insult you so long as you
reciprocated.
I have no interest in your net-copping or attempts to modify my
behavior
towards others.
It is hard enough not to call JohnH names, it really is too much to
stop
calling everyone names.
And, John, while you are at it, perhaps you can net-cop "Reggie" into
civility.
Johnny has little control over his Dope irregulars.
Maybe we can send him off to officers school to learn how to instill
dicipline in the ranks.
This presents a good teaching opportunity.
Hey Don, glad to see all is well with you!
Were you able to do some sightseeing in the bay today? Where do you launch
your boat in Halifax?

Sightseeing in the bay??
The nearest 'bay' is between 20 and 30 minutes drive from my house and at
17F, it's a bit cold to go roaming around.
There are numerous public launch ramps in Halifax.... depending on whether
you want to boat in the 'Arm', the 'Basin', Inner Harbour...etc
