I have a very strong feeling that although 'waterboarding' may have been
part of the repertoire of the commanders of Japanese POW camps, it was not
the basis for their prosecution.
You're quoting a liberally biased rag, BTW. (Not that the WP would slant
the news in any way, shape or form.)
If we tried and punished folks for the *same* waterboarding activity in
which we've been recently engaged, then we were wrong in doing so.
