Default How to temporarily stop a leak?

temporarily plug the leak for a while? Is there anything

to remove later when the boat is pulled and fixed correctly?

Just an idea but I'd try roofer's patch and, if the crack is wide enough
to suck in the bitumen compound, a strip of cloth to give it some
substance. Roofing patch works on wet surfaces. You have to press it
firmly against the surface to make sure it bonds. If you need the cloth
then work the tar into the cloth before taking it under water. Roofing
patch is cheap and available at hardware stores.
