I had the same problem with the off brand battery grip. It worked great
for a few months, then my shutter froze open. The service dept.
replaced the shutter, only to have it reoccur in a few weeks. I solved
shutter problem by removing the battery grip.
I guess there is something to be said about you get what you pay for.
Can't figure why Harry would need it anyway. He's stated that he can
hand hold his camera zoomed out to 200mm and show no movement @ 1/60th.
I posted that information for anyone who is considering the off brand
accessories. I have heard others have had similar problems.
