I looked at this stuff, but I think it's too thin and flimsy to do much
good, unless you use 4-5 layers. It's very thin, and they mold "dimples"
into it. I'm like you though, there has to be something else out there that
these guys just resell for boat use. The swamp cooler stuff might work, but
I think it's made of sisal or some organic fiber that might rot and stink.
no, I a referring to the stuff that is a mat of fibers. You nail the
shakes over it.
It's kinda like the stuff that they use under the top of the breather at
the crown of a continuously vented roof.
