I don't disagree, but this transition period is not typical. The
situation requires an indication of intent now, not later, as
demonstrated by the reaction on Wall Street when the news of his
nominations to be made on Monday were leaked.

Personally, I find it interesting that all these leaks are now
coming from a very disciplined and tight lipped campaign. I'm
guessing he's floating names for a response. The timing on
Geithner's "leak" was brilliant.

The Obama is being handled by the Clintons.

The American voters "handled" the Republicans this time, just as they
should be handled.

The Republicans were punished.

Your assertions really are hysterically funny. Obama, who was not my
first choice for nominee, handily outsmarted the Clintons during the
primaries, and tied the Republicans up in knots during the general
election, turning a handful of red states blue.

Obama only got the nomination because of his early wins in the smaller
states. And, because Hillary did not take him seriously enough.

I was delighted for the opportunity to vote for Obama on election day,
not only because I thought him by far the best candidate for office,
but because I just knew he would drive the social conservative simpies
nuts.

Both Obama and McCain provided poor choices on election day.

Your brand of social conservatism will never again elect a president of
the United States.

On another, equally happy note, I was pleased as punch the GOP
resurrected Saul Alinsky. Saul would have been tickled. I know that,
first-hand. :)
