More likely 4 years. With the economic meltdown going on, he is
probably a one term POTUS.
He's either going to be a hero or get the bum's rush.
Unfortunately for all the idealists like Harry who are anxiously awaiting
all kinds of social reforms, it just ain't gonna happen.
The state of the economy will be the only measuring stick for Obama's
successes or failures.
Everything else has become secondary.
I wish him luck. I sure wouldn't want the job.

My "reform" agenda includes very few items that will cost serious money.
They just won't be high on the priority list.
Meanwhile, for many, we inhaled another breath of Congressional disgust
today.
Last week, Pelosi and Reid were hitting all the airwaves, advocating and
pushing for a bailout of the automotive industry, particularly GM. Both
recommended using part of the 700B bailout package to make secure the jobs
of the employees and to protect the benefits of those retired.
Today, both have demanded that GM, Ford and Chrysler present by Dec 2nd, a
business plan that shows how any form of government assistance will make any
difference, before they will even consider a bailout package.
What changed their minds?
