Looks like Kerry performed as expected...no boomlet for his opponent.

A bit south of you, looks like Joe L. is going to be pretty lonely,
unless the GOP wants to rebuild a more moderate party. If it does, he
could be its model.

The Republicans will move to the right over the next two years. They
have found that being lefties doens't get them anywhere.



That's good news...the farther to the right the GOP moves, the more it
will become the party of Southern *white* men and the more irrelevant it
will be.

Obama has a lot of promises to keep. If he doesn't keep those promises
he is going to be in a world of hurt with the people who elected him.
