Default Learn something new everyday...

I knew some of these, but I never knew there were so many bugle calls
or how they are used.

Yeah, yeah, I got bored, so I started researching First Call and
Reveille on the Innertubes. I don't have a boat, can't use it anyway
even if I did and I've been up since 0400.

Sue me.

The interesting thing is that a lot of these calls are French in
origin. Which makes no small amount of sense because the French
during the late Medieval Period, were innovators in the use of horse
calvary - in particular, light horse calvary rather than the heavy,
armored war charger type calvary.

And here are the examples.
