In an attempt to take a break from all the fast paced boating
discussions, the following is offered for a little
Saturday afternoon entertainment.
Early Steve Winwood - Spencer Davis Group.
Gives Ray Charles's version a run for it's money.
(instrument note .... not a Hammond B3 .... just a simple home type
spinet w/o Leslie.... but still sounds good)

Winwood's always had one of the best voices in Rock. If you're a fan,
check out his 2008 release "Nine Lives". I like it quite a bit. There's
one song on the album where Eric Clapton guests and plays lead guitar like
he hasn't played in years. Great stuff.
I'll look for it. Winwood and Clapton are very similar, IMO.
