Ten years and still reading. But you're right, it's pretty dead.
Didn't I see a post from Myron not long ago? I suspect there are a
few others who still hope against hope for a live group again.

It seems that ISPs are dropping Usenet support. Between that and all the
"competition" with more user-friendly forums, it seems like the
handwriting is on the wall. Usenet will likely die soon. Bummer, it's been
a fun ride.

Usenet went away and then came back from my ISP - I had been meaning to
bitch, but I shoe horses and summer is my busy (think 70 hour weeks) season,
so apparently someone else did before I got the chance.

The place doesn't seem quite so dead when there are six months worth of old
messages backed up!
