The glue that the inflatable mfg or others make specifically for PVC boat
repair is the right stuff. Unfortunately it comes in rather large bottles,
and shelf life once opened is not too long, which is why I tried the small
tubes from 3M.

AFA gluing, I've used a two part 3M plastic glue w/ success. If you have

lot to glue, go on and buy the right stuff in larger quantity.
