Default Flying Pig Float Plan

I was thinking of getting a SPOT too but I decided not to. I don't want
to put people like Skippy or the rest of you to shame should you look
in on my progress and note I regularly do 200 mile days in a vessel
with a much shorter LWL. Skippy only manages about half that with a
45-footer.

I think the difference is I know how to work the wind and currents and
Skippy tends to work against them to meet lubberly schedules.

Wilbur Hubbard

So, you have one of the smaller Winnebagos?

That's the only way Wilbur could guarantee 8+ knots with a LWL below
68' outside of the roaring 40s.

Real world, days of hull-speed or greater are rare and not necessarily
the best memories for cruisers. They're more likely to be something to
recall, then avoid.
