Hi folks

I'm about to commence gluing in the Perspex windows into windows
inserts on an old Mason Marlin I'm restoring...

Has anyone in New Zealand experience with this process / the products?

Is Sikaflex 295 UV "Direct glazing adhesive for plastic glass in
marine applications." the product to use?

Any feedback appreciated to

Must rush as I've a nice autumn morning to utilise

Ok yes I have done Perspex windows and I am in NZ. 295 does a good job
BUT!!! there is a black primer you can get scuff and prime both the frame
and the window where it's gonnar get glued in... not the whole window, also
u want to space the window out a little from the frame if u push it in to
far u squeeze all the goop out match sticks work well for this after it's
all gone off like 2 or 3 days later u pull then out and fill the holes left.
other than that just mask up well and wear gloves... don't be afraid of
changeing gloves as u rearly don't want ne sika on the lovely varnish of ur
Marlin.
