Something that has been overlooked in this discussion, 90% of Greater New
Orleans was successfully evacuated, over 1 million people. I can't
think of a more successful or complete evacuation in American history,
can you?

Could it have been better? Sure, but from my standpoint, besides the
inadequate levees, most of the problems were after the storm, not before
or during. It took far too long to get the needed resources into place.
