Default weekender

reminds me of something humourous about the Stevenson's. in one of their
books on this type of design they claimed 10,000 copies of the plan had
been sold, or some number like that. it seems the plan appeared in Popular
Mechanics.

the Ottawa public library has an old Stevenson book devoted to an earlier
design for a tiny child's boat which is built the same as the Weekender,
called the Amphora, a neat idea that grew.

Or, better yet, go to the designer's web-site - www.stevproj.com

A lot of interesting designs, a very active builder/user base, and an
altogether 'fun read'.

there are websites with discussions devoted to the boat.
can be found through www.google.com and www.boat-links-com.
