The point was not the number of houses, but the fact that McCain didn't

That wasn't your point at all.
First of all, McCain and his wife have made many investments, including
property, houses or condos. When he was asked this question, he deferred
to his staff to make sure he gave an accurate response. Can't blame him.
Now, the *point* you were trying to make is contained in this:
