Do you still have your place in Florida? When my mother moved to Florida
she first lived in the Jupiter area, but then moved south to W. Palm
Beach. Too far south in Florida for me to live; I cannot tolerate that
sort of heat, but...in the winter, it's a great place to visit.

Nope. Sold it a month after "Wilma" ..... but not really because of it.
Mrs.E. missed the family and we were spending less and less time down there.

I absolutely loved it during the winter months, but I'd never last during
the summer.

Two things I regret doing:

1. Selling the Florida house.
2. Surprise! ..... selling the Grand Banks.

The Navigator was just too big and although I liked it a lot, it didn't make
sense to keep because most of the time I am the only one using the boats.
It was too big to easily single-hand.

The GB was a fun boat, although slow as molasses in the winter. But, it
had character, I could single-hand it and you sure couldn't beat the fuel
efficiency.

The Mainship is ok .... but it's just another boat. It just doesn't have
the unique, nautical tradition of the GB.

So, we will see how things go. I might be shopping again before next
season.
