This is what we used when we had our dock built 4 years ago:

It still looks great after 4 years in the Florida sun. It does
require closer spacing on the stringers however. I was ready to go
with wood decking until I saw the WeatherBest at a neighbors.
Ours is installed with stainless steel, square drive screws. They
have a small head which recesses into the deck when driven and become
almost invisible

What kind of research did you do when you picked this brand? Did you
check CR?

I checked with our dock builder to see what they thought. They are
well known around here and would not have installed it if they were
aware of any negatives. They picked up on the requirement for closer
stringer placement but other than that were OK with it. Fortunately
the dock had not yet been framed.

Come to think of it, that maybe what my neighbor installed.

I need to check tomorrow.
