My kid came home early last week one night from a friends.. I asked
her why and she said, they are going to go out and smoke some cigs,
and they want me to try one, guess they are not my best friends...".
Kids, huh?

Anyway, this problem at Chucks could be fixed easy enough. Chuck has
to set up the karma system available on the BBsoftware he is using. A
very serious group I used to participate in used it to good end. When
you made a post, it was judged by your peers.. If is was a good post,
others would give you postitve karma. If you posted garbage, negative
karma.. The more karma you had, the more powerful your hit. If you
went below zero you went to the bin but could still post, only there.
From the bin you could plead your case, or change your attitude until
posters gave you enough positive karma to get out.. This worked out
great, especially for new posters coming in for info, they knew who
was considered to be knowledgable, and who was just full of ****...
Not like the present system which seems to work more like a labor
union, only protecting the scum, while good hard working posters get
tormented with no recourse.. Mind you, this was not a social group,
so folks were not there to fool around, but to get good solid reliable
info on the subject at hand...

I suggested this when he first started, but for for whatever reason he
seems to think one solitary mod is best.. so be it..
