Obama has peaked. He's old news now and his act is well understood and

He could always get a job selling tire inflation meters.

I think the most interesting thing of note recently in the news was
Hillary's request, it could have been a plea, to not be nominated at the
convention in Denver. Do you thing she sees the writing on the wall?
Better to let Obama go down in flames all by himself rather than be a
party to the whole mess?

Perhaps, but I suspect it's more to do with saving face in her head, knowing
full well that Obama would never pick her anyway.

In hindsight, the Dems probably made a big mistake. They *should* have
selected Hillary in the primary process.
She probably would beat McCain, hands down in the general election. Obama
is losing ground fast.

I was initially intrigued by him and tried to listen carefully to what he
had to offer. My primary interest was that I felt we needed to elect a
POTUS who had the best chance of being respected throughout the rest of the
world and could repair our tarnished image. I would be willing to
compromise on some issues that I would disagree with in order to accomplish
this.

But, now as the campaigns continue to the wire, he has lost support rapidly
among many of us Independents.

Also Democrats if Rasmussen and Gallup are to be believed. Even in
Massachuetts.

Kind of reminds me of what happened to Ned Lamont in CT.
