Breeze went to therapy for her right arm yesterday for the first time.
They are working on her limited movement, the tendons were messed up
and they don't have a memory, so they need to be worked into moving
again. She's a go getter, they gave her specific exercises and she
does them many times a day! The doctor is glad we have a pool, she'll
get in and kind of forget about it and start moving things a litttle!
hope all goes well with her, man.
And I'm listening to Albert Cummings' "Working Man" CD. He's one of
the best (alive) blues guitar players out there today in my opinion.
it seems like "blues" and "alive" don't go together very long...

Sad but true!

That's cause there's no phonys there. .You got to live it to feel it...

There have been and are plenty of old blues players around.

Sam Hopkins died at about 70.

BB King is in his 80s.

Alonzo Johnson was in his 70s when he died.

Elizabeth Cotton lived to be about 90.

There are of course, plenty who have died young, usually because they
OD'd on booze or drugs. Longevity is up to the individual, not the genre.
