Obviously, I am encouraged by the fact that not *all* of the big banks
are in serious trouble.
The loss of jobs is unfortunate, but it's part of our capitalistic
system, the same system that also creates jobs.

Your philosophy of corporations "owing" people jobs is admirable, but
unrealistic in our system. Survival and stockholders equity come first.

Overall, it has worked very well over the years, but is certainly subject
to ups and downs.

Now don't get excited .... just another POV.
