Maybe I should have bought a 'chase' motorcycle and gave him a couple

Great fun runnin' those kiddies down, don't ya think?

You have to wonder what these sorts of irresponsible parents will say and
do when one of their offspring sustains a really serious, life threatening
or debilitating injury and either dies or spends the rest of their life in
a wheelchair.

"Oh...well...at least they got to do something exciting..."

D'oh.

In the local news yesterday..... a 15 year old ran his ATV into a cable
strung across a logging road.
Declared dead upon arrival at the hospital.
ATVs are a big deal here...... the provincial gov't bought 66 kiddie ATVs
with trailers and gave them to local associations to train kids as young as
6.
After a hugh outcry from everyone with half a brain...they took the kiddie
ATVs back. *Might be a good chance for some reckless parent to get a deal on
one.- Hide quoted text -

I won't argue this much as I know you are only trolling, but... How
much equipment is required to ride a horse or bicycle up there? For
Bicycles, helmets are required only, and then only until age 16,
horses, nothing.. and no age limit for either. Not to mention, at the
stables, little kids are often left alone, even for a day, with a
horse, or several horses... Bicycles, the same.

When my kid is on the track she is donned in nearly 1000 dollars worth
of equipment, there are dozens of professional and very good amateurs
around her at all times, paramedics just minutes away. I wear the same
equipment as my kid and have hit the ground at nearly 30 miles an hour
and not even thought twice about it. In a normal day, she takes less
punishment than a high school football player, and with the limited
speed of her machine, probably does not even get hit as hard as two
200 pound linemen landing on a QB. Either way, this is her sport.

BTW, I wish I never made that comment about your kid. I never went
there before, hopefully I can restrain myself from doing it again.. I
am sorry, I was wrong to go there....
