Default Making an Inflatable Boat

Since your need is not for a boat, perhaps hypalon is overkill. I remember
using a heat sealing machine on plastic film to package products. Worked
very well and may ( or may not) have sufficient strength for your project.
Every day in every store zillions of plastic bags are carrying products and
many of them were simply heat sealed. A small machine was used in our
application, but it could be made up as large as you need. Just a heat
source (nichrome wire , I think ); an insulated groove; and a pressure
device. RichG

Does anyone know of any books or resources for making inflatable boats?
More specifically, I'm interested in creating something using that
technology that's not a boat (or furniture for that matter).

Manufacturers
or products used in the construction also would help me get started.

Thanks.
