Yup. In Seattle proper, the tax is 9.8% I think. It's close enough
to 10% to ignore the difference.

I looked it up - you're right: 9%. The marina fuel station has been
pocketing the hiway fuel tax forever too... That is, they are selling
untaxed fuel for the same (or higher) price as the taxed fuel on shore.

I bought #2 diesel at a Seattle gas station yesterday for $4.69/gallon.
I'll be buying more, ten gallons at a shot, and hauling it down the dock.
