Yes, Mr. Hubbard. They attempt to be a model of purity...they strive
to be the beacon of light on the hill for all to follow... Like the
early Puritans on the east coast they were more holly than tho and the
but in any purity culture the members eventually turn on themselves
persecuting the one of less purity. A purity culture will never be
able to survive because the very nature of their insecurity demands
they find a scap goat and then eventually turn inward with self
loathing.
