That's tough **** and you will get no sympathy at wreckboats. We all
know you richly deserved it. We can always tell by the whining, the
****ing and the moaning. If you can't take a joke carry a crying towel
and be quiet.

On the contrary. Several here on and off line get the point. Argueably
it is a valid point to any thinking observer of the cast of characters
who has been here (wrecked boats) as long as you have, even if they
don't agree with me. Your disagreement, or failure to understand my
point of view, does not make it any less valid. But you can slap me
around here a little if it makes you feel good... don't remember ever
taking a cheap shot at you, but maybe I did. Anyway, you go boy, sorry
to have wasted your bandwidth....

I'm sorry you got into this situation Scotty, as I always felt you had good
and interesting contributions to make.
I hope you aren't being influenced and thus judged by the 'company' you keep
lately.

I am being judged because I won't hold my nose just to be where
everyone else is. Any one of a hundred other posters here could have
started a group and I would have been on board, but anybody who has
been here as long as I know that inevedibly this new "monitor" is not
someone known for having the capacity to be "moderate" at all.
Certainly I have personally been victim to his selective internet
policing here at rec.boats more times over the years than I can count
as have many of you. If you want to participate in a group where
posters are subject to selective enforcement, so be it. I will leave
the name calling to them. That is all that is left of me over there. A
quick visit tells me that although my post is gone, the pigpile of
back pats continues, with the final post coming down to the standard
insults focused on my grammar and spelling. Same old, same old.. Just
with Chuck and Harry running the show * * *now that is scarey...

For those of us who are still here, you should go over and just check
out the roster and some of the posters who you never thought would
stand for all of that. At the same time, if they really got it, they
might just be stuck here with us too I swear it has something to do
with boatshoes

Good to see you checking in though, how is that little Skiff working
out, is it wet yet this year?

By for now..

D'oh. I'm not running anything at the other place. I'm just someone who
read the rules, signed up and post.

You were "judged" not for the excuses you are offering up here, but
because your post went way over the line, violated the rules you agreed
to abide by and because you taunted the moderator into killfiling your
account.

Everything you have posted about the incident is nothing more than
rationalization.

There are many reasons why some posters find the atmosphere at the other
place more pleasant than it is here. I like it because photos of
interest can be posted directly, and because I can avoid even *seeing*
posts relating to other peoples' grandchildren, bad amateur guitar
playing, diaperboat cruises, home-brewed beer, NASCAR, nonsensical
comments about computer operating systems, and the rest of the flotsam
and jetsam that passes for "rec.boats" these days.

Hey...this is *your* newsgroup and the newsgroup of your buddies here. I

Hey Loogie, check this out.. since we are far from boating, I am going
to hijack this thread.. If it doesn't go my way, I will continue to
post until it does Let it die now, check out my very lame startup
website for our new line of pitwear

Like I said before. Sorry to my friends here who know my history with
boats, and those who don't. But I have left the boat in the garage so
far this year. Any parent who has a 14 yo kid that is willing to spend
a weekend with dad will understand my sharp turn to other outdoor
activity.. However, she does really enjoy evenings on the lake with
her friends so it should be out soon. When it is, I promise more
boating photos and posts...Scotty, smallboats.com *for anyone who does
not already know... yes, I am actually a boater, sometimes...- Hide quoted text -

Yeah, a lot of folks like the RM.. We have a whole bunch of related
characters and stuff to go along with it. Put out the first CNC
embroidered version today, looks great.

Picked up the kid at her friends house and took them to the MX track,
really is a crossover sport, lots of girls riding along with the guys.
I got to fool around with my chase vehicle (old school hard tail mini
bike) down by the CT River which is about 500 yards from the track
too.

It got real greasy after a good rain, but the place cleared out and my
kid got to take the pro course. You can't see most of the track if you
are not on it, she says she fell about 5 times or more out there..
Apparently she stood up the bike, restarted it and didn't let it
bother her much. She did break a clutch lever but the way it broke,
she was able to ride another hour or so anyway. She really loves
riding. The rain left 3 of about 40 on the track, and she was one of
the three that slid around during the whole storm, wet clay, she
wanted to slid around, so I let her stay out

Anyway, I will let you know when I get the shirts going, We kicked up
the CNC today, going to try the silk screen and airbrush this week,
now that I am feeling better. And yes, I still promise to get my
boat out and tell you all about that too...
