thanks for asking, man. so far so good. she has a swollen lymph node
on the side of her neck and I don't know if she's being a bit overly
optimistic, but she thought the swelling in it was going down. Hope
so. She goes back for her second round of *"keeeemo" i think next
Monday.

Nobody shoulld ever have to put up with this. But Like I told johnH,
Even though it may be really dim sometimes, we're still looking for
the light at the end of the tunnel.

My daughter's lymph nodes, at least some of them, were removed. Have they
given any thought to doing that for your wife, or are they going the pure
chemo therapy approach.

Either or both just plain suck!

Well, John. They took out the one that was now a big lump on her
thyroid, and have opted to not do any further surgery seeing that they
haven't detected any more infection in the lower body. just one up on
the side of her throat, which is good, so they're working whith
chemical all the way and close examination. i know treatments are
different but she's going to have 3 bouts of chem 21 days apart, then
comes the radiation. *UGH!* But the docs think this will do it.

We'll find out.
