Lanier is absolutely beautiful this time of year! Me and my son are
itching to go out in the boat. My daughter likes to fish too, but gets
a tad bored with it after awhile if we aren't slaying 'em!
Bring home just enough for a fresh fish dinner, release the rest. Good
luck to you...
Yep! Sometimes I release all, if I keep any for supper, I impose a
slot limit on myself!
The weather's going to be iffy Saturday, I don't mind rain but I don't
want to be out in the middle of the lake in a thunder storm. Lanier
can get rough, believe it or not.
Don't forget some pictures of those kids with fish!

Will do....I'll take pictures of the snot nosed brats, HOPEFULLY with
fish!!!!
I don't think I've ever been skunked on Lanier, but their's always a
first time! Have you had a chance to fish in your new boat yet?
No. I got the thing up here in the driveway, but the next day I went to
North Carolina for a week. Since I returned, it's been raining or I've had
golf plans already made.
I've got to get on the stick and get organized. First I need to figure out
where I'm going to launch at. I may start out launching at Chesapeake
Beach, which also has a great bait and tackle shop.

Getting set up to go trolling is a lot of work, especially if it's been a
couple years since the last time. I'm going to just pick a date and work
towards it. Maybe next week sometime, like Thursday. We'll see.
