I recently saw a ca. 28' power boat happily zooming along right ahead
and in the path of a loaded containership riding the tide down the
Delaware river, and totally ignoring the pleas of the ship's pilot to
"pick one side or the other". OK, as long as everything works.

Yep... same thing I tell my students when they ask why we're getting out of
