I'm off to Strictly Sail in Jack London Square... hopefully, I won't spend
my grandkids' inheritance on a lot of crap. I'd rather spend it on the
good stuff!

Well, it was an interesting show... the usual local vendors, many of whom I
know, so I got to chat with people for a bit. The usual assortment of new
boats... my fave of the show was the 42 Valient... a no-joke offshore
cruiser, not the kind with walk-around queen-size beds fore and aft.

Went for a nice two hour sail prior to driving over. No guest docks unless
you want to dinghy, which we didn't. The wind really picked up after we got
there, must have been 25+ out on the bay.
