I have been migrating my fleet over to the AMD 3800s too. They do seem
plenty fast but I am running about a half a gig less software than
most folks (W98). I do notice my audio and video edits go a lot
quicker tho.
When my wife wins her solitaire game the cards really fly out of the
stack ;-)



For most users, the noticeable differences come with faster hard drives,
more powerful video cards, and more RAM. The benchmark differences
between competitive CPUs is, for the most part, minor.
