And THAT is my exact point! Whenever I hear stuff like "If not for our
Troops and George Bush we would all be speaking Arabic right now". It
really makes me wonder, are Americans so stupid that they actually believe
that, or are they just cowards that would surrender to any one who says

Well, think about this: There are girly-men in this newsgroup who've argued
that any Iraqi not in uniform is an illegal combatant. When asked if *we*
would be illegal combatants if this country were invaded and we had
everything *except* uniforms to fight in/with, their responses usually turn
into mindless drivel, the specifics of which are too stupid to bother
remembering. Based on this, I suspect that there are, in fact, quite a few
people who would cower in their living rooms, watching their demise unfold
on CNN.




There are "girlie-men" throughout the Bush Admin who have argued and
continue to argue that same point regarding Iraqis not in uniform, or
Afghanis not in uniform, et cetera. That in their minds justifies
rounding up the usual suspects, whether there is evidence or not, and
holding them in prison for years without trials at Gulag Guantanamo.

We certainly learned a lot from the Soviets, eh?
