Was reading a Sail mag at work this week, saw a blurb about

Sorry if this was posted before, I've been busy.

Whacha been doing? Trying to teach that Canuck daughter-in-law to speak
'merican?

Anybody hear from Joe lately?

He seems to be keeping a pretty low profile, maybe he's running work boats
again to earn enough to buy another sail boat?

Cheers

He's probably ashamed to show his sorry, incompetent face around the
newsgroups anymore and rightly so. Remember how he used to brag and act so
cocksure? He fancied himself a mighty seaman with no fear. Ha ha ha! My how
the mighty have fallen!

It seems maybe he's finally decided to take responsibility for his premature
evacuation (chickening out is what we used to call it!) and sinking of his
boat. I'd like to think he's not gonna brag anymore about how great his boat
and sailing abilities were. After that humiliating smackdown he received
last winter from a little ole Gulf cold front he'd have to be off his rocker
to continue to act so haughty and proud. He's a girly man if ever there was
one . . . but now he's been forced to face that fact.

As for running workboats; he never ran a workboat. He was little more than a
deck monkey. And, with his sterling record of abandoning his own yacht in
the face of a little ole gale force wind who's gonna be stupid enough to
hire him and put him in charge of a multi-million dollar offshore supply
vessel?
