When was the last time you had your eyes checked?

Or have you been color blind your whole life? :)- Hide quoted text -

Actually tom,now that you've mentioned that. at 52 i have 20/10
vision.

However I am a bit color blind. In fact it kept me out of the Marines.

Army didn't mind, though.

Between you, Dick, Tom, BAR and a couple of others I think we have all
Armed
Forces services present here.

Thanks for serving.

BTW: My son is having a blast on Okinawa.

It's good he's getting it out of the way first rather than later. From
what I've heard, it's a lot of fun when you are younger and fresh out
of boot.

Used to be being stationed on Okinawa was like being in the Pirate
Navy with Pirate Marines. :)

Or so I've been told. Don't know if it's the same way today.

All we know right now is that he says he is having a good time with his
trade (construction engineering) and being at OKI. He sent us pictures of
the base, the town and the beach, including his group finding an octopus,
dressing it (someone knew what they were doing) and cooking it. He did not
say if he ate it, but I would bet that he did.

Jim, is he a construction engineer now, or an equipment operator?
