Grady White Canyon 336. *The dealer is coming around - slowly, but
coming around to my viewpoint that as a Yomama dealer, he would be in
a better position to sell the current engines on the boat than I
would. *He's not totally convinced of that, but he's starting to talk
more like he might actually commit to it. *This is looking promising.

Contender 35. *Oh mama - I'm getting really serious about this one -
found one with very low hours down Greenwich way and looked at it
today. *I'm even willing to put up with the engines - for the summer
anyway. In the fall, it's repower with ETECs.
And it's a Contender.

Did I mention that it's a Contender? *:)
Pursuit 335. *Saw a sister ship at the same marina I saw the
Contender. *I like the looks of this boat very much. *This might be a
possibility as a new boat. *I called the dealer yesterday and he got
back to me this morning. *Sound like he's not at all upset about my
engine choice and depending on pricing, we might be able to work
around the Yomama problem.

Hydra-Sports 3300 CC. *Pure fishing machine with great storage and
features - liked this one a lot. Saw one with Mercs on it - Verados.
Makes a very nice looking package with the dark blue hull.
Unfortunately, I'm a white hull guy and while I would consider Verados
as opposed to ETECs, I can get one new with ETECs. Which I wouldn't
do, but I would have it pre-rigged for ETECs.
So that was my day pretty much. *To tell the truth, I want to pull the
trigger in the next couple of weeks. *Which means that the Contender
is probably the way I'm going to go unless I can get one of the other
boats quick.
We'll see.
The "Yamaha" problem.
