My concern is for the children who are here now and suffering. Once their
suffering is completely alleviated and we eliminate the death penalty in
this country, I'll be glad to entertain thoughts about the issues of
abortions performed in the third trimester.

You can't be "pro-life" if your concern for the lives of those born ends
when they are born.

That's your opinion. Mine is different. I don't see how one can be "pro
life" in terms of being anti-abortion if one is pro death penalty and
one doesn't give a damn about the millions of poor, suffering children
in this world, and one doesn't strongly oppose the killing of innocent
children in war.

It's easy to be "pro life" in terms of being anti-abortion. It's not
easy to be pro life if one opposes the death penalty and the suffering
of those innocents among us now.

If the "pro lifers" are so pro life, let them prove it by acting to end
wars, to end the suffering of children everywhere, and by forcing their
lawmakers to end the death penalty.
