It is funny in a serious kind of way. The vast majority of these FWC
warning signs are not on the charts, and they are wood placards on
wood pilings, almost no radar signature at all. The whole manatee
issue is totally out of control. Anyone in Florida who wants a speed
limit for some personal reason can petition for a "manatee" zone to be
created. FWC loves it because it makes them feel important and
creates more laws to enforce.

If you hit a FWC sign at night it is a *serious* safety issue.
