I believe it. I dumped my old KZ350 when I came around a corner and realized
the road had washed out. Put the bike down and let it go. I didn't realize
it in the moment, but my helmet was apparently bouncing on the pavement
until I stopped sliding. It was crushed side-to-side, and it took two people
to get it off my head. I was only doing about 45. I also had road-rash from
my ankle to my shoulder.
