Yes, it was, I believe. But more than the name changed. Over the years,
tens of millions were spent upgrading and improving it.
Did they keep the huge terrarium in the lobby, and the iguanas wandering
around the pool area?
Indeed, there was a huge terrarium in the lobby, along with a piano bar.
As for the lizards, they're just about everywhere in Florida.
Here are some photos from a web site. There's a photo in there that shows
a different angle of the one I posted, but on what looks like a crummy
day.
