He does seem to complain quite a bit. Here he is complaining publicly:

The most humorous thing is that the flight path of those planes is about 3
miles east of the lake so how could they appear "low over the lake"?
Just more gross misrepresentations and whinging. Simply check the map in
the article. Could be a case of severely distorted perception:

Gene, thanks. That last link is very informative. I wonder if he sometimes
sees haloes around those low-flying aircraft?
Hallucinogen Persisting Perception Disorder. Hmmm very interesting. I like
this part,
"HPPD, by contrast, is a persistent, pervasive, long-term, dysphoric and
distressing condition. It may be irreversible or persist for months or
years. Its effects are clearly non-benign and accompanied by a sense of
dysphoria.3 The symptoms must cause distress or social, occupational or
other impairment and not be due to an underlying medical condition. Equally,
the symptoms should not be due to another mental disorder such as dementia,
delirium or schizophrenia, and not be associated with waking or falling to
sleep when hypnopompic or hypnagogic hallucinations are a more likely
cause."
Could be. Just could be...
