Speaking of.

I just missed a great deal. On Ebay a dealer about 80 mi away was
selling an 18' runabout about like my little Chris Craft. It boat was
beautiful but had a bad transom.

Er, too late! It went for $500.00 trailer and all. I wanted to kick
myself, because the seats looked dang near perfect, mine are getting a
little ratty. There went the spare Alpha drive w/ steel prop. Also
they had said in the auction that the 3.0 had recently had the head
gasket replaced also new engine water pump and lower pump impellor as
well.

No Idea what was wrong with the transom, but it wouldn't have
mattered. I would have had some spares to last me for ages.
