He once told me that he had a college deferment and
that kept him off
the list for that time. That was the case with a lot
of people at
the
time, including my district manager. And, you know
what? I don't
blame
them one damn bit!! I would have avoided that war as
quickly as
anyone. Our Idiot-in-Chief took us into one of the

imaginable and the expected the youth of the country
to go fight it.
And for what?? There was no winner, only a lot of

Yep...I was II-S for a while. But then I graduated, and
my draft
status
changed to I-A. But then...fate intervened. I certainly
never
"dodged"
the draft.

He was deferred,reclassified 1A,dropped off the list, and
blessed by a
twist of fate. Seems like he went to a lot of trouble to
stay home with
the girls. And now he finally declares that he is not a
draft dodger. I
guess we should believe him. Eh. Harry wouldn't lie, would he?

story of an interview I saw just after the Imus, ho, comments. I
think
it might have been Dave Chappelle (sp?), a black actor was being
interviewed. The comment to me was actually life altering... He said
simply:

"It's not what someone calls you, it's what you answer to...". Think
about it...

Scott, you have a perverse view on the reason this NG exists. To
you it is a playground where arguing and personally attacking
members here is acceptable.

It started before you got on board Jim. Harry was doing the exact
same dog and pony show when I first looked at the group years ago.
His straight men have changed over the years but he hasn't. The
nastiness you see from some of us is drawn out by old Harry boy
himself. You want to change the tone of the group, change Harry or
get rid of him. I tried to put some heat under his tail but
apparently it didn't work. I was counting on him having a modicum
of self respect but I couldn't find any in him. There is no way to
get to this man. He's like an empty head with a wind up mouth. I
give up.

I remember a post from Dick (Eiscboch) a while back regarding you
(Florida Jim) stating "when Jim speaks, folks listen". He was
talking about your knowledge of marine engines.

Until recently I saw nothing to prove that statement wrong.

You then morphed into a Harry attack dog, even going to the extreme
of changing your handle a couple of times.

Go back to your roots Jim. Otherwise you look like a Booger,
Herring or Reggie.

I recall you getting mad at a certain someone because he has more
stuff than you. I see you attacking Harry one day and sticking your
