I have never once claimed my 'Vette as a "sports" car.

It's a go fast in a straight line car that happens to be able to
corner sufficiently enough to make life interesting. :)

A straight run drag race might still be interesting. I'd have to find
someone who knows how to drive the Porsche though. The factory issued
owner's manual lists 0-60 mph at under 4 seconds, but it assumes a driver
who knows what he/she is doing. Not me.
