Sounds like a New Yorker but folks from DC seem to think that is the
center of the universe too. When I moved away it shocked everyone I
knew. Their idea of moving away is to go a little farther up Rockville
Pike but my former inlaws have 3 generations living on South Dakota
Avenue. They bought more houses as the family got bigger but still
have the first one.

BTW I spent a lot of time in Atlanta (Mostly up near the 75
intersection with the beltway). It is pretty much like DC IMHO. There
are a lot of things in common.

I live here. DC has a lot of free stuff, and is a great place to visit.
But, I'll be leaving as soon as we sell the house. Next spring it goes on
the market.
