pointing - for instance, toward a point, person, place, or thing,
implied or understood.

However, too is also problematic - in addition; also; furthermore;
moreover.

I suggest that in the future when confronted with this type of
stylistic choice that we use to/too, for the illiterate 2/two or for
those who wish to cover all choices to demonstrate solidarity for all
mankind to/too/2/two and allow readers to make their own choice.
