I hear you, but there sure as **** ain't no faster way to **** off most
SCUBA folks than to voice this opinion.

I also sail alone. I find the crew more reliable and enjoyable. On
occasion I will take a few passangers. However they are PASSENGERS not
crew.

I also prefer to drink alone simply because I can not stand most
drunks.

I've dived alone and I've sailed alone. I think sailing (or diving) with
people or without them can have great benefits.
