I did buy the battery box from MinnKota that integrates the circuit
breaker, and makes everything neat and safe. AGM battery and charger
with AGM setting. So, sharks beware, you have competition for the
small fish.

Thanks for the update!
Because you are in a salt environment, I would recommend you get some
dielectric grease and coat all the electrical connections with it. This
will help a lot to keep the corrosion away. Things exposed to that salt
air rust amazingly fast.
