I do get todays race on espn2... I think I get speed too if I screw

Loogy, I know what I'm about to tell you may sound like heresy, but you
might give it a try.

Cook some ribs in a crockpot. Spread the sauce on 'em, put 'em in the pot,
and cook for about 8-9 hours on low.

Good eating. Not as good as BBQ'd, but more tender and not bad. A good way
to cook 'em if you don't want to mess with cooking much.


That sounds like an excellent idea to get tender meat.
Did you ever try tossing the crockpot cooked ribs on some tin foil
and broiling them a bit? I'm thinking that might crisp 'em up some.

No, but when they come out of the crockpot, the meat is falling off the
bone, so the ribs can't be 'manipulated' much. I did put a rub (Butt Rub)
on them for a day before cooking them. I'll do it again, especially on a
cold day when I don't want to mess with the grill, or on a day when I've
got something keeping me tied up away from the house for the day - like a
grandkid's birthday party.
